Tough call for me because since I bought my #1 razor in April I've used nothing else ever since, but here goes....

1. Mingshi 2000S Adjustable (Merkur Futur clone)
2. Generic Scalloped Safety Bar Head on either Windrose D-9 Chunky or Windrose SP-4 Handle
3. Weishi 9306CEL
4. Rapira Platinum Lux Head on knurled Boctok Handle (Gillette Tech clone)
5. Acevivi Dual-Comb

Timeless - Stainless or Titanium, solid bar
Rockwell 6s, Rockwell 6c
number 5 is a tie, EJ 89 and Merkur 34c
The more expensive Timeless and Rockwell razors are significantly smoother, closer, less irritating and work well with a greater variety of blades.
I can get a good shave with EJ89 or 34c but it takes more effort, the brand of blade seems to matter more and irritation and nicks are more likely.

Merkur 34C, Edwin Jagger Faux Ebony, Maggard's MR5-v.3, and Merkur 39C Slant, .....
shown left to right, with my favorite blade for each razor.

The only other DE I have used was a 41; sold it. Too harsh.

Lordy. Shaved with a Tech forever. Started with that one in '66. Bought a Jagger in 2015, and a cheap Maggard for travel in '16. Tried a 41, found it too aggressive. Then worked my way through fat boys, slims, SS, red tip, Fatip, Schone OC, a President, and more. (Retirement leads to all sorts of foolishness.)

Long story short, my list is one razor. Schone OC in nickel over brass.

I have given away, PIF'd, or sold the others.

Like a little variety in soaps and brushes, even blades, but, at least for this year, am done trying other razors.
