Barrister & Mann Seville today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor Manchurian White Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7-O’Clock Blue SP still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bentley Intense EdT.

Thanks, Guy. Actually, the Black Beauty is just a smidge longer than the Karve 4” razor. And, yeah, that extra length is handy when chasing ankles. Try it sometime!

Good shave tonight.
Previously I had misjudged this razor as too aggressive for me. Handled carefully with this blade gave me a very comfortable BBS result. I paid more attention to technique and shaved slowly. And I was using just good old Barbasol. I’m highly pleased with all this! I admit I am still learning more about some of my razors. It’s all good.

Actually I do every summer. I work out five-six days a week and during the summer I sweat heavily like a jumped into a pool, so I shave my body hair and my body temp drops it seems by 10 degree and the equipment stays sweat free. Use to live the bodybuilding lifestyle 19 years when I was a lot younger so nothing really new but have always hated the time it takes. Don't envy women but after seeing hairy legs in nylons while I lived in Germany, I can see why they do shave their legs.

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Lemon Flower Soap.

Brush: Vie-Long ~ Horsehair.

Face Lather.

Soap : OSP. ~ Neroli.

Blade: Personna ~ Gem PTFE coated.(4)

Razor: Ever Ready ~ 1924. (USA)

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Dana ~ English Leather ASL.

Last vintage shave of the week using the Every Ready 1924 which i find the most assertive of all my Ever Ready SE vintage razors,which took a few shaves to adjust to it's assertiveness,it also holds quite a lot of water in the head when rinsing,but a quick shake removes it instantly. Just like my other vintage SE ladies provides a easy, irritation-free comfortable shave,today yet again,was no exception.

A superb 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth bbs shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of L'OREAL~ Soothing Birch Sap Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling old school devine.

Each and every shave throughout the week with these fantastic vintage razors has been a pleasurable experience,the Ever ready SE razor truely are a remarkable comfortable SE razor.Anyone who is sitting on the fence about purchasing one,'go for it'! you'll be rewarded with some sublime shaves.
