Here was today's setup. I really like the razor so far, but it was one of the heavier razors I've ever used. I was really how shocked how mild the razor felt and how close it shaved. I'm looking forward to my next shave with it. Also forgot to mention the aftershave -- Krampert's Finest Frostbite....love this stuff.

How many shaves do you get out of your Nacets? I can get 5 really good ones and then they are pretty much done in my 37c.

+1. Four to five at the most. But that's about normal for me with most blades.

Thank you. My beard is medium coarse and all of my blades last less time in my 37 than in my regular DE. It sounds like I'm in the right range.

It probably has to do with the angle of the blade in a slant.

My experience: 37C will shave very similarly to its knockoff cousin the RR German 37. I was glad to get my German 37 because I like a 3 piece. 39C was too long and heavy for me, gave it away.

The Wunderbar is a bit smoother, less blade feel than my ATT S2. Don’t know how the S1 fits in there. Wunderbar is my current favorite slant. If you are looking to get a new one, use the Italian Barber e-mail notification feature. It worked for me on the recent release.

It will never be my daily driver, but if you have a spare $20 and want a blade forward slant shave with a highly torqued blade, the PAA Bakelite Open Comb Slant is just the ticket. The Kawasaki H1 500 of slant razors. Inexpensive, overpowered, under-engineered, a little crazy.

There’s no rush.
I’m enjoying the razor.
It has improved my shaved and technique. It has been a good purchase

I have well over three decades of experience with that classic Merkur slant head. It is a perfect choice for a DFS in a hurry, especially with a blade that has seen several shaves. The Nacet seems ready for at least a middle distance run.

Not really; the GSB, Astra SP and Nacet are much better. However I do get at least 7 shaves out of the Rapira so not too bad.
