Burnt Toast

Wanting for wisdom
I recall a 100 + year old guy being interviewed. Attributed his longevity to avoiding Marmalade. Seems breakfast is the most hazardous meal of the day.

I saw that also. Now all new toasters will be required to have a warning label stating "Known to the state of California to cause lung disease, high blood pressure, cancer, stroke, heart attack, and itchy, watery eyes."

Next thing on the banned list. So much for the traditional wedding present.

No wonder I have breathing problems and cough up little black crumbs.

A British take on 'Toast'; Streetband. This used to get played regularly on the radio station i was listening to at the time, late 70's. Paul Young was a member of Streetband if that name rings a bell.

Yep. And Streetband, including PY, sort of morphed into the Q-Tips.

Not being in the UK... isn't 'The Sun' a supermarket tabloid type paper.

It certainly is not a proper newspaper and if it says Wednesday 20 February on today's edition, I would check a calendar. The only reliable part of it is the racing results. Now that Page 3 has gone, no reason to buy it at all...
