Hello there. Just got a wade and butcher from a used junk shop for $10 !!! It's got homemade wooden scales that are very old but actually well made. Blade isn't perfect but I'm fairly happy with it. Going to attempt to add pics in a sec. As you can see the scales are a bit rough but we're hand carved and widdled by a knife lol.

Also nails were used as pins. I would think clearly that someone enjoyed shaving with this razor quite a while ago to go through the trouble of doing the scales and excetera

Pretty neat, and looks like it would hone up well. Are you looking to clean it up and do something with the scales?
I would make some new scales but in honey horn or black horn.
