    What's your soap for today?

I tried Stirling's Island Man. I like the scent and the blue colored puck is different. It's not my favorite, but I wouldn't avoid buying a tub.

    Most common issue during shaving?

I think for me is not being satisfied with the soaps and aftershaves/balms I have, wanting to own the next latest and greatest scent. Being financially limited, this is hard to do (and probably impractical even if I wasn't). I then get soap envy reading the threads in this and similar forums...

Captain's Choice Aftershave USPS SNAFU PIF

I'm in! I did order something once that was stuck in New York (I'm on the west coast) for almost three weeks. No explanation on the USPS site except for "Package arrived at ...". I called them, and they couldn't/wouldn't help me. All I was told was that New York was having postal issues...

    Desert island 🏝 soap/cream?

This is a play on words in a way. The soap scent is based on Herod Parfums de Marly. Herod was the king of Judea who orders the execution of all male children two years old and under in the vicinity of Bethlehem. This incident was called the Massacre of the Innocents.

    SOTD : Tobacco scents

My favorites that I've tried are A&E Vanille de Tabac and B&M Full Measure of a Man. The scents are great in my opinion, and the soaps perform exceptionally well as a bonus.

    Desert island 🏝 soap/cream?

Declaration Grooming Massacre of the Innocents The Milksteak base is fantastic, and it's the best scented soap I own. I will admit, A&E Vanille de Tabac runs a close second for the same reasons.

Soap with best slickness and post shave feel

I, like others, think Stirling is one of the best bangs for the buck. It's an excellent performing soap that comes in a huge amount of scents. The cost is less than $14, which is a bargain when considering it's for 5.8 oz of soap, versus the typical 4 oz.

    Summer scented soap

345 Soap Company has Shark Bite. Stirling has a few. I want to try the Creamy Coconut.

    Tabac PIF With(out) a Twist

I'm in. I have yet to use Tabac, although it's brought up quite often, for better or for worse, in the threads.

i finally did it! made a great lather!!!

Thanks! I use a bowl/scuttle mostly since I shave my head also. It just seems easier to do it that way, but this might work better.

i finally did it! made a great lather!!!

Glad to hear that. Maybe I'm blind or dumb (combo of both?), but I don't see the link. Could you repost for anyone who might need the help (like myself)?

What did you learn from your last shave?

I learned that the ATT S1 is one of the smoothest slants there is, especially considering it's efficiency. Had it on loan and didn't want to return it. :lol1:

Razorock Black Hawk v2 versus G37?

I, unfortunately, had the opposite experience. I could just not get a smooth shave from it. Maybe it was my technique, but the G37 just kicked its butt in most aspects for me.
