    Favorite Orange Scented Soap

When they have it in stock, Chiseled Face Orange Creamsicle is an excellent soap. It truly smells like a Creamsicle with an added kick of menthol. They're out of the soap right now, but they do have some after shave splash in stock.

Congrats on your finds!! Did they add some new pages to the Old Spice Collectibles site? I thought I had all the milk glass mugs, but now I realize I only have all the American milk glass mugs. And, I've never seen the Corning mugs with the red/orange logo. I have got to find me one of...

That'd be about what I'd pay for one of the earlier wooden countertop cases. I have two of those - one was a gift from my mother in law, and one I paid $125 US. I also have another plastic case, with a crack in the bottom, and the glass lid is cracked, but the graphics on the front are perfect...

It's not a razor, but it's the 4th counter top display case I've found out in the wild. It's in really good shape - just missing a rubber glass bumper (upper left corner) - no cracks in the plastic or glass.

Gillette to release NEW DE razor for the holidays

Excellent point!! They would only go back to manufacturing and selling DE razors, if they got back in the DE razor blade business, which is apparently not as lucrative as the 8 blade disposable plastic cartridge business.

Gillette to release NEW DE razor for the holidays

I have to wonder why there's no other mentions of it on the web, other than a couple of shaving forums? Why isn't it being promoted? Why would it only be available on Amazon, and not available to the general public in brick and mortar stores?? Plus, it's not a typical Gillette DE razor - its...

Terrific!! That's the beauty of these razors - it doesn't matter if they look a little rough around the edges, they still perform like nobody's business. I have one of these in good condition, and another in not so good condition, but they both shave the same, and out perform almost every...

Best Combination of Efficiency and Comfort?

For me, it's my '46/'47 Aristocrat, hands down. Next would be my pre-war Fat Handle Tech, and '41 Ranger Tech.

    Gillette Tech

I agree! My first vintage razor was a post-war, Ball End Tech, and while I enjoyed using it, I thought it was too mild. Only after I improved my shaving skills, was I able to properly wield it, to achieve a shave that compares to my '46-'47 Aristocrat. I have around a dozen different Techs...

Can you ever imagine one of the big, old shaver companies manufacturing classic DE shavers again?

Same for me, and I'm the one who got him started! He was a former co-worker, and I used to come in to work with new-to-me vintage razors, and I let him smell the soaps that I used to have delivered to work. He ended up buying a Merkur 34C and trying out a bunch of different soaps, and we'd...

The "elusive" Williams Golden Yellow Shaving Cream

I found a partially used tube of this last year, but I still haven't tried it yet. After skimming through the video posted earlier, I may reconsider...

Try leaving it out in the open in the bathroom. The, um, (ahem) release of sulfur dioxide in the small confined space should speed up the silver tarnishing process. It may only take 10 or 20 years instead of 100! You're welcome! Glad I could help!
