    Difference in Fatboy prices???

Prices at Ebay strongly depend on how many potential buyers really realize that there is an auction with a nice Fatboy. Often vintage razors are sold under names noone would type in the search bar. Also pics are taken without cleaning. If you know what to look for (e.g. no green spots on a...

Do I need a Fat Boy?

I going to sell all my Gillette adjustables (around 20). Yes, they are all cool but other things in live are also cool and more worth to spend money for. I don't think that Gillette adjustables really offer better shave quality than 3 piece razors like Gillette NEWs. So why handle with an...

Vintage or Modern ... What's your preference?

This fully explains my experience so far with Fatboys and Slims. I do believe that rigidity is a key factor. Thats why I like my Gillette NEWs.

Vintage or Modern ... What's your preference?

Wet shaving is not a rocket science and modern razors are not always better than their Vintage counterparts. I would Always prefer a Gillette NEW for any of the ZAMAK razors out there. I love the idea of holding something in my hands which surveyed World Wars... Anyway, I just ordered a modern...

Have you ever liked a razor so much you bought it more than once?

Here in Germany we often call the razor which heals RAD the "exit razor". After finding it hopefully no further search for the razor giving the max whatever one looks for when buying the next dozens...

Thank you very much! I will start searching for these razors. Maybe here in Europe they are easier to get. Thanks a lot!

Very interesting! I would be very happy if you could provide the concrete names of these razors so that I can search the Internet. Thank you very much!

Wolfman was not in my focus so far because of the price. But of course you buy a razor only once so that after a number of enjoyable shaves it will pay off! Thanks.

Thanks. I did not see this razor before. Will look if they also offer a razor with positive blade exposure.

Positive blade exposure & rigid blade design

I also had a Wunderbar. A great combination of all what I want but I found the head a bit bulky. Also sold it but now I regret... Gillette NEWs are great razors and I will never sell mine. Hope to optimize my technique (or decrease my expectations) to use them again...

That's why I will keep my 40+ Gillette vintage razors. I find them beautiful to look at and play with. Maybe I will use them later :-)

Positive blade exposure & rigid blade design

Thanks. So no need to spend the extra money when looking for a more rigid design. This helps me really a lot.
