One of my favorite handle styles. I miss my Arley......The knot wasn't really doing it for me though.

I've always preferred a minimalist, clean looking style of brush. Preferably a solid color or two-tone at the most. Especially the Matte finish. For this particular one, I reached out to Turn'n'Shave and went part Matte, part Polished.

    Smart helix razor

I'm quite surprised at the little amount of exposure this razor gets. Could it be down to the distance/length of time for shipping; when there's already plenty of great options in the US?

    Smart Helix

I received one about a week ago. To put a long story short, I am absolutely blown away that there isn't way more recognition for this razor. I can only put it down to the fact that it's delivered all the way from Ukraine and therefore, not as within reach as the many offerings in the western...

    1) loading the blades is a very simple task. Must've been a bad video. I did watch one that was uploaded within the past few days by Cris, who does the channel 'another cut above'. He struggled a bit when inserting the blades ONLY because he was holding the head up close to the camera for a...

I definitely feel your pain with that one. It sucks. The recovery time is even worse. On the face, anyway..

I can't really say, but I image it's just the same as the trial and error we all go through with safety razor blades. Some work, some don't.

It is a multiple blade razor. However, you have the option of using 1, 2 or 3 half DE blades. The razor is designed in a way that each slot provides a different level of efficiency/aggression. For example, I have very thick coarse hair, so after trying 1 and then 2, I came to find that using all...

I'm just reading through this thread now, but if you're still curious enough to try one, there are a few Canadian retailers that carry them. I just ordered one from a store in Ontario....$122 CAD shipped. The Nickel Refillery is where I ordered mine. I contacted LEAF about availability in...
