Don't get me started about Puma straight razors, Puma, Henckels and Dorko are my favourite vintage Solingen razor brands. This half hollow dark beauty is my razor of the week.

There are so many stress factors in life so why not let the daily shaving produce remain a stress free haven where you once a day do something really nice without looking at the clock?

An early Dorko No.49. It has been waiting for quite some time. It was NOS until I took it for its first ride today. The shave was as joyful as you can expect from a well made full hollow razor. It will be my razor for the coming week.

Thank you for your kind words, but when it comes to razors collections I'm just a very small fish in an ocean where there are very large sharks. Most of them rarely show themselves even if I over the years have got to know a couple of them and I am proud to call one of them my friend. Mostly...

They carry memories of events, places and people. A slight trace of Tabac is enough to bring back fond memories of my father and his father, my...

That is a great blade in a fabulous configuration. I can see that you like Dior Eau Savage. I used it quite a lot in the mid 1980's and I was contemplating to buy it once again, but the different versions confused med. What's the difference between Extreme and the ordinary version? Would you...

Very early this morning I opened the razor restoration drawer and picked up this CVH MK No.32. I deemed it to be in good enough condition to not need a polish but just to be honed and so I did and the following shave was just as close as to be expected. It will be my razor for the upcoming week.

Aust razors are great IM(H)O, but as @RayClem writes above the c135 steel that TI razors are made of is much harder than that of an Aust. Please don't give up just yet:em2400:. If it is that the hardness of the TI that's the trouble you would be throwing away a first class razor, that is...
