I'm with you on this one. Sperrys are the only shoes I wear all summer long and definitely without socks. Once broken in, these shoes are incredibly comfortable, they have excellent grip even when wet (hence "boat shoes") and they can be both formal and casual (especially when living near a beach.
During a recent hotel stay, I noticed the sink had this nice bamboo tray on which the toiletries were placed. I moved the items aside and put all my shaving "equipment" in their place. It looked awesome! That got me wondering how many of you set up your shave area.

After spending a little time on this forum and finally receiving some of my equipment in the mail, I successfully completed my first shave tonight. Thanks to all those who contributed and offered advice!

It seems the drug stores are a great place to pick up a few of the essentials to get me started. Then once I become more familiar, I'll be better at figuring out what I want to try. Pretty sure I've used Old Spice AS before. Is that a valid option?

1. Get a better shave with less irritation.
2. Enjoy shaving instead of "dealing" with it.
3. Save some money by straying away from the cartridge types.
