    Best slickness

I’ve tried many of the Stirling scents and love them. However, I have not tried Texas on Fire. It does have its followers.

    Best slickness

Stirling soaps have a fantastic slickness and should be on your list.

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

So it sounds that winning a PIF is not against the rules. I understand the gift rule, but a PIF does not obviously appear to fit into that rule. Based on the feedback here, I’m still in!

    King C Gillette PIF

Fantastic PIF, but I’m not in!

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Money was spent by the person piff’ing the razor, but he would have spent that regardless who won.

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Just so I’m clear, the rules are being interpreted in a way that a PIF is the same as a gift? “Gift” is used as a defined term in the rules, but is never actually defined. Gifts are typically given to loved ones, with no expectation of anything in return. A PIF is more akin to a prize, like...

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Basically I won a PIF. I did have to say that I was in the PIF in order to be in the drawing, but I didn’t spend a penny for the razor. There is no trade or cash payment, not before, not now and not in the future. So, with the rules being what they are, it sounds as though a PIF falls under...

    Japanese Schick Injector?

I have the O clone that I purchased for $30 on ebarbershop a few years back. I love it! The razor works well with a regular single edge Schick blade and it’s fantastic with a twin injector blade!

    Do You Fly the Flag?

You did say you wanted opinions and I don’t want to be booted off of B&B, so here goes... You’ve got to be kidding me!

    Do You Fly the Flag?

I proudly put out my flag at the crack of dawn this morning. I have had many friends and relatives that have fought for this country and my right to to fly it. USA! USA! USA! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Okay, okay! So I have a razor inbound that I’m viewing as a gift. It’s a one-off razor that a very talented gentleman on another forum built and decided to give away. All I had to say was “I’m in” to be in the pool of lucky contestants. Lo and behold, somehow I won. I didn’t buy a ticket...

Should i change scales or keep original

Those rosewood scales look good and would be a nice improvement in the looks category. I wouldn’t worry much about originality, but I would go with the prettier scales.

    Choosing a Gillette Tech?

I’ve used various Techs over the years and I found they all shave great. There are differences in the shaves, but all seem to provide a smooth and comfortable shave. Whichever the OP acquires, he will likely love it.
