    What Are You Reading?

I am really enjoying it so far, although I am only about 20% of the way through the book. This was a time period of Japanese history that I wasn't too familiar with, so I love learning about that. I read Mitchell's Black Swan Green a few years ago, and I was determined to read more of his...

    Floris Elite

I have always loved it, but it certainly does not get much attention. I'm a big fan of oakmoss, and I think it is done well in this fragrance.

Sold all my elite artisan soaps. This is what I kept...

I love all of the classic soaps, and I use them in a rotation with mostly artisan soaps. Whenever Tabac comes up in the rotation, I always think - why don't I just sell everything else and use Tabac for the rest of my life? In the end, I suppose I like the variety I have too much.

    B&M vs Stirling

I've got nothing but love for Stirling, but if I had to choose one over the other (thank God I don't!), I would pick B&M. Their excelsior base is the best I have used, and most of his scents are a cut above.

    Café Acquisition Thread

I got a Zojirushi 20oz a few years ago, and I still use it every time I go to the office. I put coffee in it at 6 in the morning, and it is still warm in the late afternoon. At home, I use the Yeti 14 oz rambler, which does a decent job of keeping the coffee warm. Certainly much better than a...

    Well, I blind-purchased some Kouros

Kouros is one of those fragrances that I LOVE, but won't wear out of the house or when I am in close proximity to other people (not that that is an issue these days). I'm not familiar with the recent formulations, but hopefully it hasn't changed too much. I hope you like it!
