Found an Ever Ready at a flea market today.

1930 is when ER first stared making that razor. I don't know what you can find locally, your best bet may be www.connaughtshaving.com Nice razor!

    Vintage Avon find

I've passed on a lot of Avon lately but couldn't let this one go. Avon Country Christmas with a full bottle of Clint cologne, soap and talc dated 1982. I'm going to give this to my son because he was born in December of 1982. I'm guessing this originally had a second part to the case.

    treet razor?

I have a couple. They have a different safety bar than the 1912's, it's similar to the kind on the Clog-pruf. They aren't stamped pat'd 1912 because of this.

If by "clip" you're referring to the spine on the blade you do not have to remove it.

    Best Blades

I voted other because the carbon steel SE blades made by ASR are not only my favorites, but I also think they're the best.

The Cult of Streamline - Streamline & Jewel owners

That razor is from an ER Bathroom Set, it's a 1912. The case is a mismatch.

    My Uncle's Avon

That's pretty cool! It probably contains Spicy, which is similar to Old Spice. It should have a sticker on the bottom identifying the scent, unless it's fallen off. When you get time could you add this to the vintage Avon thread?

Is it wrong to use Ivory soap

I'd venture a guess that nearly every person reading this can offer a better option that Ivory soap. Unless you're just using it as a bath/shower soap.

Injector razors should be produced again.

If you look through HERE you'll find quite a few of us that are.

How old is this GEN Junior?

I agree with UncleScott, that's probably a later model one. Here's a page from a merchants catalog from 1947 or '48, note the Gem at the bottom of the left column. It's in the same box as yours and describes it as having a plastic handle, even though the one in the illustration appears to have a...
