Well, the FT and the shaving brush are mainly clean. The FT still has a few stubborn spots on it.
The cleaning method I used took off the gold/brass finish on the shaving brush. Its now a nice brushed silver.
I'll post pics on Sunday after church.
Actually the brush is in decent codition! Well, sorta.
I will be using the toot brush for cleaning razors only!
Started cleaning the FT and 90% of it came clean. There is a lil pitting/rust, but I have that covered.

"Hey, since you mention it...how about one of those dog bowls that are electrically heated to keep them from freezing during winter...bet they keep lather nice and warm too."
Not a bad idea!! Might have to try it!!
Some of you may remember that I recently tried a Schick Injector for a lil while. Today was a revelution for me!
I decided to use the Tech that was gratiously PIFed to me by one of the members here. Never tried a Tech. I have a few SS's, 2 Gems and a New.
I will NEVER use anything but a DE...
I just found exactly what one it is.
Its a Type G Eversharp-Schick Injector Razor
Patents: 1806807 and 1969945
G1: molded plastic handle (seam).
This is my Injecter.
I found it here:http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm
I went slow, but the angle might have been off. Bumps are mostly gone now. Going to use the Tech for a bit and give the injector a rest.
BTW, mine has a Bakelite handle and a brass head. The handle looks like bone.
