I'm new into safety razors and though not a Connoisseur of these things, nor am I of anything but what I am is an American that believes in buying quality products where makers stand behind those products. I moved to the UK several years ago and find it very difficult in this country to get these luxuries most of us take for granted.
I'm into different things, flashlights, razors "now" various tools, etc. I like to buy American when I can, but I'm not against buying German, Japanese, and so forth if I believe I'm getting what I pay for. Hand made, or solid appeals to me rather than stamped or something which could be warped by mass production means.
What I cannot do is afford to spend hard earned money on something that is going to give me displeasure in using or for product which has a clear qc issue that isn't acknowledged by the manufacturer.
In saying that, I'm searching for one of the best shaving tools I can get... and I've decided to come here for advice.
I'm not sure if a mild safety razor would suit me better than a semi aggressive.
