Right now I use films to 8k and finish on cnat. So looking for finisher. I only have 2 straights to maintain so just need to refresh edges on occasion. I've been using films for a while and am looking to transition to stones as budget allows.
hi all. I currently use lapping films for honing up to 8 k. I then finish on a chat. My question is I'm looking for a budget upgrade. Is the Sharpton ceramic 12k a good upgrade, or am I better off saving up for a better finisher. I'm new to stones so the cnat Is my first.
Rescaling complete. I just have to hammer it a bit more to try centering. It goes off a little to one side when closing. Not too shabby for a first attempt. Unfortunately I was not able to save the original scales.
