Well, I broke down and tried the Yardly charcoal soap for my shave today. It worked, but I'll not make it a habit. I treated it like I treat all shave sticks and wound up with a thin watery lather that dissipated quickly. That made it more difficult to see where I had already shaved or not...

Nothing really special. I keep seeing guys talking about the new Cella Bio, so when WCS had their free shipping the other day I grabbed a tube. I couldn't resist $8.05 out the door.

I've never tried a hand/bath soap before. I am awfully tempted to try Kirk's castile soap though. It lathers like a demon when I bathe. My grandfather used regular old Dial soap. I imagine Arko is cheaper than Dove, so that's what I would go for if price was the main consideration.

I'm a big fan of the red tube. It's not the most cost effective, but it's worth it to me and I'm a cheapsake.
