Tobs and g trumper shave soaps

You can get good lathers from Trumper soaps. I’ve found that the trick is to load heavily at first and then dial it back a bit to find the right water soap balance.

    Wilkinson Sword - majorly underrated

The stick is fantastic. It’s hard to beat the tallow-lanolin combo.

    What Are You Reading?

I liked Schoolboy better than Tinker. Fantastic combination of action in the field and behind the scenes within the Circus.

    What Are You Reading?

I finished LeCarré’s The Honourable Schoolboy yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the flawed characters and conclusions that are not neat and tidy. Moving on to Stephen King’s ‘The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon.’

    What Are You Reading?

I have been obsessed with Krakatoa since reading The 21 Balloons when I was a kid. I read Winchester's book when it first came out and loved the thing.

Jack Purcells by Converse. What a shame.

I would do the same thing you’re doing, Bob, but my shoe size varies from brand to brand (10.5 in Aldens; 11.5 in Brooks; 12 in ASICS). I can’t trust that they’ll fit when they get here.

Jack Purcells by Converse. What a shame.

I had the Superstars in white leather with Kelly Green stripes. Still my all-time favorite basketball shoe.
