Cade works great and smells great... really not sure why some people have a hard time with it. Also Martin de Candre is a great soap, although the strong herbal fragrance can be off-putting for some; it also comes in unscented.
Definitely not. Not too far from it, but definitely not as aggressive.
I had burning with the Tonsorial, but again, my skin may have already been a bit irritated from the Mariner. I didn't have any burn at all from the Elizabeth Street cream this evening. It was a thoroughly enjoyable shave...

and 1 Mariner short handle safety razor.
Tonight I chose the Tonsorial and loaded the Mariner with a Med Prep...
I've had an r41 for a while now and it's a great razor. Give it respect and it'll give you a great shave. That said, I find myself reaching for my 37c lately? All of a sudden it's giving me consistent BBS with no burn and it never did before. I'm not complaining. Perplexed, but not complaining.
