I used vintage Palmolive shaving cream today. Overall a good shave. It lathered well and provided adequate moisture for a smooth shave. Anyone else have experience using this cream? Thanks, Mullard
One of the old timers on another shave forum told me it was from the 50's. Still worked just as good as the day it was put on the shelf.I'm jealous you two! Lol, any idea how old that is?
Amazing, really. One of the old timers on another shave forum told me it was from the 50's. Still worked just as good as the day it was put on the shelf.
Excellent question. I wondered the same thing. Why did it say on the tube to leave soap (regular bathroom soap i presume) on before applying the shavecream? Perhaps to replicate a shaving soap effect?
Every time I see this pop up on ebay, I consider buying it. What is the scent like? Is it similar to the green tube you can get today?View attachment 940907 View attachment 940909 View attachment 940910
