Hello,

it's an aluminum Rocket HD (aka. paperclip), most likely from 1953.
The case is earlier, for a No 88 raised flat bottom New.

Very nice Rocket, mine was a very fine shaver! Enjoy that one, the British made Gillette razors were some of the finest DE's ever produced!

I wanted to identify it correctly before I do my next YouTube shave review with it.
Thanks
Ken

Nice razor Ken.

Hey I watch your youtube videos, how good to see you here. I was laughing last time when you were shaving with the Rose handle R41 and you thought you cut yourself badly, but it was just the reflection from the handle.

Thank you, this is the best forum for shaving enthusiasts in my opinion. Tons of great knowledge.

I have an early Super Speed that came to me with a splotch of red paint on the handle. The first few times I used it, I thought I needed a medic! :001_rolle
