The Resin-Ivory comes in two grades: S and R. Do you work with both? Is the difference between them just the pattern on what would be the bottom of the handle or on the side of the handle too?

Yes I still have it. This is a brush I’ll always have. I used it this past week, & the shape is a natural in my hand.
