Our 1st Norther of the year just blew in and I am making picadillo tonight!!
BUT....I am using zucchini and cauliflower instead of potatoes!!
Ground beef, onion, zucchini, and cauliflower!
Spices: Garlic, pepper, and comino with some tomato broth (Knorr)

It is a little cool today- 35 deg F.

That's a wee bit too cold for me!

On a lighter note. That was the best picadillo I have ever made!
A very unique and wonderful taste!
I've got two containers ready to go for work. Just gotta chunk'em in my feed sack!!!

Nice going Marty. Now I'm going to have to do something.

You need to join us in this months Mess Hall cookout. The theme is chili. I know you could come up with something really tasty.

I’m stumped
You weekend warrior New Zealand mates are always ahead of us Texans by like 72 hours or something...that's a lot of bean drinking.

...we try and catch up by bweansday.

Loooooong Christmas lunch in town.
Need to make chilli tomorrow to bring things back in line. Hiccup

Ha, I've got a pork butt thawing out for a good long smoke for Saturday morning chili makings. It will be nice to fire up the pit in 50 degree temps. Instead of 100 degree temps.

I had to google that to see what it is in English.
10'C that's not a bad temp for BBQ as long as it's not raining or windy.

I have a carport, so rain doesn't stop me.

on edit: I'm lucky. A neighbor was going to get one, and the city told her no. I am grandfathered in.
