Started with some Crabtree & Evelyn Indian Sandalwood from a tube; first time with this soap/cream. Received it in a PIF from someone who sold me a brush. Mid-shave, I decided it wasn't working -- not slick enough. So, I cheated. Got out a puck of Haslingers Sandalwood and whipped that in my scuttle with the C&E. Much better. I should add that I also loaded a new blade halfway through the festivities.
