Took the wife shotgunning

Just trying to instill safe gun handling habits at this point. She did okay, not as intimidated as last time she shot, these were with some pretty light 7/8oz. 12 guage loads that I also prefer. She is a south paw and the gun is a semi auto so I figured the ejecting shells might cause some flinching issues. She had no problem with that, although she says her boob got jostled around a bit:blink:.
Then we went on over to the handgun range where she fired her Ruger 22/45. She said her arms were a bit tired after handling the shotgun, so we cut it short. Overall a good day, just got to get her out a bit more, then I'm hoping to turn her loose at the Trap field.

You are a very lucky man. This is the perfect reason to buy a nice O/U or SBS shotgun "for her". Do it right away. Don't take a chance on her getting to like that auto.
