Adams/Merkur ? both?

I recently bought this razor with the Mercury head on the bottom of the handle that we see on Merkurs with the words "Adams Germany" on the bottom of the baseplate. Did these come from different razors or was Adams part of Merkur? Anyone know? Here it is:

In addition to the above, you'll also see these branded Grafco and Landauer. All the same razor, manufactured by Merkur. As noted, a very mild open comb, and quite nice if milder razors are your preference.
