Under The Nose, Voskhod, Ouch

I've been enjoying using my Voskhod's for the last couple of weeks. Nice sharp smooth blade. Got a little over confident this morning and the Russian reminded me who was in charge. Just when you think you've mastered something you get an ow'ey ......

Perhaps, but given the OP's description of what happened, it sounds like user error here. I wouldn't necessarily blame the blade. I find the Voskhod among the smoothest of my blades. But as we know, YMMV.

I've stayed with the Voskhod's, and just got my 4th smooth shave from the same blade. 99% of the time my ow'eys are faulty operator....

Which blades do you prefer? Voskhods were not in the 'outstanding value for money' category for me, either.

OP, sorry about your mishap with the blade. At least you didn't wind up like Jack Nicholson in Chinatown.
