In other threads you acknowledge you get good lather from MWF yet some others don't. What prevents them from achieving it? Answer that and you have the answer to your MW question.
Actually even in this thread my positive experience with MWF is stated for the record. It seems to me that with MWF it IS the soap; I don't demonize those who can't get it to lather...I blame the soap for being so darn finicky. If it didn't work for me, it would be in the basura, with no tears shed. Once MW gets the mileage and broad usage which D R Harris, MWF, AOS and others have garnered, the market, not me, will decide where the product ranks. In other threads you acknowledge you get good lather from MWF yet some others don't. Amen to the last line! Her hair products are the best, bar none!Really, I've written too much about this topic, but...
MWF is MWF...not likely Mitchell's will make many voluntary (i.e., non-regulatory) changes to their product today or in the near future.
Michelle, however, reads this forum and at this point in her marketing trajectory if she sees a need to tweak her soaps formulae, she could probably do so with a minimum of major negative impact.
I'm not suggesting she needs to do so, let alone because my individual experience wasn't great. But she undoubtedly likes to stay informed about the way her products are used and perceived and didn't get this far ignoring what her customers say.
P.S. Michelle, if you are following this thread, DO NOT change your shampoo bar or hair oil...both are IMHO just great as they are!
...It lathered SUPER easy and I actually think I today had the best lather I've ever had ...
I like the scent, the froth I whipped up was slick, but I wouldn't call it lather. I've tried several times over the last week or two without much success. Glad to hear someone likes it, but it hasn't worked for me. Maybe there's a trick to I haven't learned.
... perhaps it's a combination of too much water in your brush, not enough loading time, and impatience. When I lather my soap for demonstrations it only takes me 3 or 4 minutes from start to finish and the resulting lather is so thick that I can leave the bowl aside for 20 minutes or so unchanged (no dissipating).
