Beaver brush?

A post in the General forum had a newbie asking which was a better brush - boar or beaver? That got me to thinking, has anyone heard of using beaver for brushes?

I have the opportunity to trap beaver up here and am now intrigued about making a brush with beaver. Of course I would have to make my own knot, but it would be interesting and may make a good winter project.

You would have to use the guard hairs as all the rest is fur, and I think a fur brush would be awkward to use and clean. If you did go to the trouble of just selecting all the guard hairs and making a knot I would be interested to see the results
