GB Buckingham, any good?

I have a rusty one sitting on the side. I keep meaning to send it back, see if they can sharpen it and maybe get this half-moon frown at the front of the blade out.. but every day I look at it rust right next to my other straights, which seem perfectly fine in the cabinet..
Avoid GB., but if you want a cheap straight that won't lead you astray, whippeddog.com. While the GB is pretty and a paper weight, whippeddog.com is not pretty, but in full working condition.
And they don't hone the razors with a chef's knife sharpener as GB does.

If you go through the comments, Vintagestraightrazor actually made several accounts trying to make it seem like the razors are good.

...i bought a GB Buckingham at the time i didn't know better........ and it is junk.....
