Semogue Boar Brush Chart

I decided to compile some information on Somogue's boar brushes, as I've been searching for a dedicated face latherer, and kept getting confused about the different types of bristle. So here it is, let me know if anyone wants me to add any other info to it:

That's really useful, thanks - I'm still looking for another Semogue brush, and I keep flipping back and forth between vendor pages to compare specifications :001_smile

So....

Best<Extra<Premium<Super<Special?

Not too sure on the hierarchy exactly, but I believe in terms of of softness it goes:

Premium > Best > Extra > Super.

Obviously softer will mean less backbone. I'm not sure where I'd put the SOC bristle, but from this thread, the SOC is very similar to the 1250:

According to Leon, it is:

Special > Premium > Super > Extra > Best

And according to vintagescent's website, the Semogue 2000 features: "White Premium 90% tops mixed with White Super 70% tops", with a 60mm loft.

Hope it helps! :wink2:

I understood some of what they were saying on that site, Portuguese isn't too different from Spanish, but is Leon connected with Semogue? And I fixed the loft on the 2000, Lee's had a different number.
