Results: The Solgen is not only a beautiful blade (imo), she's got the matching attitude . Having read Amund's post using mineral oil on the Coticule to finish an edge, I modified the approach somewhat and used lather instead. The end result should be the same, i.e., the edge is amazingly sharp and smooth (I never had this good of a result with the Coticule...Thanks Amund

). Combined with the Acca Kappa, this blade delivered an outstanding shave today. I am a very happy camper
