What's new

Today's score at the antique shop

First, the brushes:

From left to right:
  • Butterscotch Blenzo
  • Ever-Ready 1500. I think the handle is Lucite.
  • Ever-Ready 150

A nice Injector:

I have to figure out which model this one is. Looks like a Type E?

Oh, and some straights:

It says "MM Keim". There is a name inscribed on the handle, we think that this probably belonged to someone and was kept at the barber shop. I can't find any info on Keim.

And this was too beautiful to resist. Engels "Perfect Temper."

looks like a lot of people when antiquing today. darn kids :mad3:

oh well, i probably don't need any more razors right now.

nice haul. :thumbup1:

Very nice! I hit 3 estate sales and two vintage shops and ended up with a cracked OS mug and a empty Avon Shaving Brush decanter. That Perfect Temper is beautiful. I would bet it wasn't a bargain though and thus more of a decision?

I'm not sure what the right price for it would be - it wasn't a bargain, but it's beautiful. And it makes me want to restore it and learn to shave with a straight.

love both those straights, especially the keim! very simple and honest 1820sish blade, should shave a dream
