Notes to today’s shave:

Still in. LOTH is very supportive in me honouring my commitment. I am very much enjoying the stuff I have.

The shave was absolutely wonderful. Superglide so much so I wondered if it was shaving at all. But three passes later I am smooth and clean.

Further details to this shave can be found here.

Enjoy your shave today!

The Astra felt sharp but a touch rough.

Timeless Ti.68, Semogue 830 and SV 70th

Good Day Gents
We are on a getaway in Branson MO. A Greek restaurant and show scheduled today.
An early shave with two passes.
I will use the same gear for the next couple days.

Please take care of yourself and each other.
Wonderful Kit - I have a Semogue 820 which is one of my favorite boars and I can smell the SV70th from your pic :001_wub:

Still in...

I'm catching up with a very late Thursday shave, which ended past midnight...

I've another round of crazy workload today, so no Friday shave for me.
But at least, I had a shave... 😜

Cheers
Guido
Same boat here, it has been one heck of a week. Today is out of my normal rotation but for a minute I thought about trying to squeeze a quick single pass in - then I got a Webex call...

Enjoy your weekend !!

2023 GRUYERE #49 - Still in
March 2023 GRUME #23 - Still in

Date: 03.24.23
Days growth: 3

Head shaver

Razor: 1940's Gillette Tech
Blade: Feather (2)
Brush: Custom Elk Antler Boar

Pre-shave: Hot shower using Dr. Bronner's Peppermint on face and head with facial scrubber

Lather: Burma Shave puck
Bowl: Burma Shave mug

Passes: 2

Post Shave Routine and products:
1 - Hot rinse with microfiber towel X2
2 - Cold rinse with microfiber towel X1
3 - Alum block
4 - Cold rinse with microfiber towel X1
5 - Aftershave - Grey Flannel EDT
6 - Balm: LEA 3in1

Time from shower on to dressed and ready: 60min.

NOTES: Second time on first feather blade that I have ever used. I am very happy, very smooth and very sharp! The Burma Shave soap is pretty good, has decent slickness and decent cushion. My boar brush worked much better than my pure badger brush that I first used with it. Easy going 2 pass shave DCS/DFS. Light feedback on right side of neck from the alum and aftershave but no big deal.
Quality: 9.5/10

Enjoyment: 9.5/10
Overall: 9.5/10

Day 25 down, and still in!

Tonight's shave was, um, interesting... I spent the day stacking baleage and cutting up an oak with a chainsaw. During my second pass my hands and forearms started to cramp up. Not fun whilst you have a straight at your throat. Finished the shave very, very carefully. Excellent results, but took a while to get there... :p
