I'm new but wanted to share some feedback on "The Abbey", a collab between Murphy & McNeil, and Black Mountain Shaving. I was lucky to obtain the initial batch which is a Kodiak base which is something special.
Great lather and a little goes a long way, will take me quite a while to get through this container. The base is very musky, amber, and woodsy piled on with blended incense and patchouli. Masculine and Heavy... deep, dark, and mysterious!
The scent stayed with me for around 8 hours so if you're looking to double as a shave soap and a fragrance then this is for you. If you intend to apply a complex designer fragrance upon carrying on with your day/evening, I would recommend using another soap.
