hey so anyone else like the bodyshop shaving cream?

i got it the other day and used it in my last head shave and im pleasantly surprised,
its actually really nice, nice scent, not too strong and overally really liked it tbh

If you mean the Maca Root & Aloe Vera cream, yes it's very slick with a mild fresh scent. Probably under rated but very affordable!

Yes. I have a tub of the older formula and it's some of the slickest stuff out there. Terrific stuff. I haven't tried the new formula.

Yes, same here. I used a tub in 2019 and really liked it. I would recommend it to anyone. I also like their aftershave balm products.

I've got the kind with aloe in it IMHO its really good and the post shave feel is second to none

A few years ago I believe. The following picture is the old formula...if yours has the light blue on the label then you have the new one

I have't used that many soaps (only 60 varieties covering 27 brands). The new formula (I haven't tried the old formula) TBS maca root is the slickest soap I've used so far. Even slicker than Southern Witchcrafts which is my favorite soap.

It is great shaving cream. I can't find any negatives to it except they don't pay ME to use it.

Tip: You can get some sample at Body Shop.
If you ask nice enough they will take some cream into a small plastic container out from the sample pack everybody can freely sniff. It's enough for about 3 shaves.

I've only used the "old" formula. It's real good stuff: lathers well, has great residual slickness and is super moisturizing.

What a coincidence, I recently started using the Maca root and it's great

I have 1 9/10 tubs of the old formula. I have scooped some from the open tub into an empty soap container and broken up the ring from a soap I have been using for the last 30 months.

The Maca root is an acceptable soap for me, and being a soft soap (or cream) it does a good job of holding the broken ring.

Yeah, it's great stuff. You have just reminded me I have it. Been acquiring too much other soaps lately. Time to get it into rotation again!
