Yes Sir! The initial impression is that it’s a better finisher than the Brick Kiita. However, I tried a different tomo.
The Brick and the Shobu are both amazing stones, and I need to fool around more with both of them to maximize their full potential. This is part of the fun for me!

The confusion might lies in how the blade is measured. The manufacturer measurement is of the ground part of the blade, whereas when measuring used razor we measure the entire width of the blade. A good example of that are the 14 which indicates they are sold as 7/8 yet measure a full inch of total width when in mint condition.

First outing for the C. Miln, quite a good shave but I think that it could be better with a little more ‘love on the rocks’, lol. Something for tomorrow I suppose. The steel makes a Tornblöm look soft. Cream and AS were Acqua di Parma and a M&F Finest did the lathering.

Crazy brush with Sterling Island Man.
Hit the cuticle edge with a .25 diamond-sprayed strop. Upped the sharp factor a bit, while still feeling good! I was concerned.

Shave #8 with this razor
First 6 shaves awesome but not marvelous
In fact, was starting not to like razor,
Went back bevel set 2k, 6, 8, 12nani
Shaves now simply marvelous as previously jnat work did not have good foundation,,,
She now shaves feels totally different,,, im loving the near wedge now, weight of blade and maneuvering
This is now a totally different razor and almost fav status in rotation , but edge must be correct
Also while i own amazing naturals for edge bless
Kudos and props to 12k nani super-stone, my first stone before falling off the cliff,
Superlative shave

Case Brothers was short-lived, founded in 1900 by, you got it, some of the Case Brothers from Cattaraugus Cutlery. In 1912 the factory burned down and the owners ended up at WR Case. This razor does show the “Tested XX” trademark seen on WR Case razors.
I honed this with my first attempt at a mostly Ark progression. Was not happy with the first shave, tuggy and harsh feeling. So I did a pasted balsa progression. It is now smooth and I would call it mild rather than tuggy. So likely will take another shot at it, thinking to start either with a hard Ark or my Snow White 8k depending on whether I want to stick with Arks for the mid-range.
