Not as much blade feel as I like to I overcompensated and ended up with a few weepers.

Shave Rating: 10/10
Magnolia, Honeysuckle & Liquorice ... Chilled
Oh yummy. What wonderful pleasures for my face today. For some reason I just felt like some southern blossoms lightly chilled. Absolutely perfect, and the liquorice brings it all together. Sheer post shave joy.
...And what would a shave be without an excellent razor. I have yet to have had a bad shave from one of my STAR DE razors. Right at the very top of my razor list. I’ll never be without one!

I finally got my vaccine yesterday...and swapped out my winter tires...and an oil change.

Razor: Gillette aristocrat '46-'47
Blade: 7' o'clock green
Brush: Rubberset 400/4
Soap: SW Druantia
After:
Thayers rose petal witchhazel
shave notes: the blade was past it's prime and I felt mildly of caca from the prior days jab but still managed to get a pretty irritant free shave. may help that this and my merkur 23c were my go to razors for about six years

Pre: Shower
Razor: Rocca R95
Blade: Feather
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Mew Brown
Soap: MdC Rose
Post: WK Chypre Rose Concerto Splash

Did not intend or want to use a feather again in a Rocca after one experience but had to this morning due to having no other blades in my shaving bag. Reluctantly loaded the feather only to be amazed with the results. The Rocca retained its smooth feeling but upped the efficiency a notch or two

Definitely the last go with this KCG blade. Starting to tug and some irritation on the face. Will try a new blade with the same setup next time.

Wednesday shave

Prep: Noxzema
Soap: MdC Fougere
Brush: Epsilon horse
Razor: Timeless .95, matte SS, #9
Blade: Astra SS, #1
Post: alum -> hyaluronic acid -> Brut aftershave

As a big fan of the Astra SP, I was curious how the Astra SS would compare. At least on this first use, not as well for me. My typical two passes + neck touch-ups led to DFS on my face and a mix of CCS and SAS on my neck. More feedback from the alum, too. The Epsilon and MdC were fantastic, though!
