So I took my new brush for a spin at face lathering today. Oh man oh man. What a feeling to build the lather with this soft brush and some warm water. It just felt magical to be struck with that “wall of Badger” that so many others have described. Ok, so I got a bit of water and thin lather everywhere this first time around, but live and learn. Took out one of my favorite vintage razors, my 1938 Gillette Senator for a great shave.

Brush: Simpson Chubby 3 Super
Soap: Martin de Candre Fougère
Razor: 1938 Gillette Senator
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (47)
Post: Alum and GF Trumper Lime Skinfood

The R41 is a beast of a razor that delivers a very close and smooth shave. Love this razor and will certainly get a SS version next year. 3 passes delivered a truly enjoyable BBS shave.

Brush: Semogue Torga-C3 Finest Mistura 22/49
Soap: TFS Mandarino Tachibana
Razor: Wolfman WR2-SB 1.25 head on a "Worlds Finest" handle
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (6)
ASL: Clubman

A Zen shave. :sorcerer:

Everything went well. I was paying attention but not concentrating. :smartass:

Clubman ASL is becoming my favorite. I would like it more if it had some chill, but I'm wary of adding menthol to my tiny bottle as it might upset its strange but addictive scent. Decisions, decisions. :001_rolle

Happy shaves guys. :cornut:
