1914 Ever-Ready "Little Lather Catcher" / CVS Blade (1) / Proraso Green pre & soap / OS splash - first shave with my "new to me" LLC vs 4 days worth of growth = a DFS with a goodly amount of audible feedback. The 1914 gave a better first time shave than I've gotten with my 1924 so far--I can see why so many people like the 1914 and 1912s vs the shovelhead.

I am currently sticking to Shaving with one Razor for the life of a blade. Currently using the Hiram and I am getting really good close Shaves without any problems. Even getting it sorted around the nostril area.

In this sequence I have had 10 Shaves with the Hiram, with a total of 9 on the last blade. The way it went today indicates that I could possibly squeeze in one more, but I will instead move onto an Oren.
