You should provide a "how to lather like a pro" tutorial thread. Your lather (always) looks gorgeous.

I'd be highly interested to learn the "matto-method".

Gents, If anyone has Sebum Soaps lather photos, please share them! I used Sebum Tonka today, which is a highly effective shave soap. In fact, the best I have used! Here are some photos from today’s shave. Vr Matt

I use this method for most soaps that you can scoop and press into the bottom of a lather bowl. I just take my time, add water slowly in increments, and have fun.

Recently, the SOTD "FREE WEEK" threads are beginning to look more like LATHER OF THE DAY. (I'm not into lather porn.)

Personally, I enjoy the pics where I can SEE the shaving equipment... not just a tiny part of it with the rest COVERED IN LATHER.

So, I think the lather freaks should have a separate thread (definitely NOT started by me). What say you, fellas?

Pleasant lather from the soap. Good bayrum scent and performance.
Shave with razor paired with the blade was good and enjoyable. Smooth and comfortable for 3passes without issues for a bbs to dfs result. Good post & aftershaves. Rating 9.7/10

Comments: Yaqi Katana Melon Head is too mild and it was fine with the fresh Astra blade but required too many touch ups after 3 passes on my coarser stubble. Next time I use this razor, it'll be with a feather blade.
