Contest - Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to spend time with family over the holidays. Thank you Scott for a great PIF, and giving us the ability to share and read about some light and positivity in these trying times. God Bless y’all! Happy Thanksgiving!

A most generous offer Scott, thank you! I am thankful for my family, friends, & family on B & B. I am thankful I have family & friends who stick with me & support me as I go through the ups & downs this life throws at us. I honestly consider some of you my family. I am thankful to have a hobby as entertaining & harmless as shaving. I am thankful for each breath I take. We have much to be thankful for.

In addition to my original post:

Following the example of the most generous @Captain Pre-Capsize. If I am one of the fortunate two to win this Thanksgiving pif, I will choose a second entrant to select their winnings. In addition, I will also pif my own spot to someone else. Captain has wonderful products, & as much as he supports this great pastime of ours, he deserves to have as many of us as possible try his products.

And besides running a great business, he’s a terrific individual with a giving heart. Thank you, sir

Thank you for this wonderfully generous offer.

This year has certainly been challenging for many. I am especially thankful that even though my two adult daughters and my five year old granddaughter have tested positive for Covid that they all have rather mild cases and are on the road to recovery.

I am also thankful that I was able to find a new job in the middle of this pandemic after being released from my project engineer position back in late March. Not only was I able to find a new job, the new job came with a pay increase and a much healthier work environment. I am very blessed in that aspect.

It just wouldn't be right if I did not acknowledge being thankful for the brain trust that resides here are at B&B. I have learned more in the last few short months that I have been on here than I have in the last five years of wet shaving combined. Thank you all.

I am thankful for my family of choice. They truly care about me as a person, and I in turn care about them... their dreams, hopes and their happiness. All these things were nonexistent in my family of origin, so I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.

I have had three surgeries this year. I am glad that I am now able to walk without the aid of a cane. I am also glad that I am able to eat solid food after being on a liquid diet for nearly nine months.

I am also thankful that I am able to converse with a generally congenial, like-minded group of fellow shavers.

addendum.... I'm also thankful that my family has remained healthy during this pandemic.... and........I have not tried Captains Choice anything before so this would be my first time so thanks for the great chance to try something of yours.......

I'm in! In an odd sort of way, I'm thankful for my mostly introverted nature...it's made managing the whole WFH and Covid a much easier proposition! Also thankful for five reasonably well-adjusted children, and eight grandchildren who make it a point to keep me young at heart. The most recent, about 6 months old, has significant mental and physical disabilities, and we are especially grateful to see every little smile, movement, and tiny sign of progress. Truly, we are blessed!

I am thankful that my family is safe and healthy.
I am thankful I have the ability and opportunity to make sure my wife and two little boys (aka, my little shaving buddies) aren't hurting and (so far) haven't really wanted for anything through a difficult time for all of us.
I am thankful that my parents and in-laws are still around, and I am hopeful for the day that we can all get together safely as a family.

I am thankful for God's omniscience and omnipresence, provision, blessing, and correction. Seems as if 1 way or another, I am always making a mess of things, yet what I need, really need not what I think I want, is always there for me. My wife and kids that I did not even know I wanted. (He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord) What a blessing she is! Bills are paid in a crazy pandemic when math says they should not be. My 10 year old boy is doing very well coping with his fairly newly diagnosed diabetes type 1. I never thought he could do it at all and yet here he is giving himself shots, programming his pump, manipulating his diet. Was not sure insurance would pay for a pump for his insulin...2 different people from church offered to help us pay for it, yet did not have to because insurance finally came through. I am thankful that I got over being "to big of a man" to cry. I find my eyes leak joy amidst even the toughest times anymore. I pray everyone finds the joy and hope that I have in this mess and fallen world. Good people here on this group with the Cap'n at helm :) Stay safe. Have a great holiday. If you cannot be with family, send out some cards or emails or just reach out somehow. Be a blessing and be blessed.

Respectfully not in on wonderful PIF. Cap'n has already blessed me and I wish for others to receive his blessings and experience his products. (Pssst a Nor'easter has been blowing through my bathroom that I think all should experience)

Oh ya, I love this PIF, think I remember it from last year. Love to read every ones positive happy thoughts.

As we all have our favorite Thanksgiving dishes, I am thankful for my paternal grandmother and mother for establishing family traditions for the holidays. My grandmother was of German heritage and was a professional chef much of her life and had the most unbelievable meals that she would prepare by herself until at least 80 years old.

My mother wanted to get her recipes so that her food would live on and she told my mother that she wouldn't give her the recipes, but would show her how to make it. One of those famous dishes was her dressing (sorry, we don't call it stuffing since it is cooked outside the bird). My mother soon realized that she hadn't documented any of her recipes and was the first person to get them on paper.

Since we had a large family, there were often 50+ people at our get togethers and she made many of these dishes in five gallon buckets. My mother could never figure out how she did this by herself for so long.

Don't get me started about the beef roladen and Black Forest cakes she would make!

My mother and grandmother are no longer with us, but have left lasting memories and traditions that stand the test of time. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I am thankful for an 18 year marriage to my beautiful wife who is my better in every quantifiable measure. I am thankful we are both in good health, that we have good jobs, that we live in a beautiful home in a nice community and that we have wonderful family and friends.

Agree with @FarmerTan that Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. I love gathering together around the dinner table with family without the commercialism that has overtaken Christmas, although it's just the two of us this year.
