How’s that shave compared to the Merkur 34? Looks to be a similar head but nicer handle
More aggressive for sure. You can't go by looks on razor heads. They all look alike.

Ron:
My favorite shaving mug is my Sears, Roebuck & Co. Catalog Ceramic Shaving Mug (I'm a 90% face latherer & 10% scuttle user), which is 3¼in tall and 3in across the top.
Also, I use a 3in Plastic Test Cap as a Lid for my mug (plus it has a 'nipple' in the middle to grasp the cover ['easy-peasy']).

Sir I believe that the correct word to use is insanity. That's quite a collection Polarbeard.

Parker 94R is my fav DE razor. I have Karve C SB/D OC, RR GC.84, Slim, New LC. 94R is my most fav. Indian Gillette Super Platinum and Rapira PL works best with it.
I've given quite a few away, but they seem to just reappear in another form.

Also, this mug is small enough to easily fit many soaps and at the same time being only 3¼ inch deep...it prevents almost all shave brush 'clanking'.

Ron:Looks cool. Very unique.
I use an enameled metal mug I picked up at a Hobby Lobby store--about $6.95 (USD). It works up a great lather from Van der Hagen soap, using my Omega 11126 brush.
