Mail call for the second day in a row.

Gillette The New Goodwill Empire French set 1931-1935

Like the way the blade is a part of the baseplate and Topcap alignment.

One from the mail, the rest from the wild.

RFB from the mail with a destroyed handle, 1956 Red Tip, Rubberset brush, Art Deco box.

This just arrived - in time for me to remove the soap scum and soak it in disinfectant.
As you can see by the box, it's a Gillette Tech. It's a puzzler, because I've never seen a Tech quite like it & can't determine vintage. It IS a Tech, the seller and the description call it a Tech, so it must be that.
Betcha it's an ueber-rare varient or maybe a prototype. Gots to be crazy valuable.
I'll be shaving with it in a bit.

The other is an Old Type with wrecked handle. I've got another handle somewhere in all my stuff, so it will look a little more presentable.

Mail Call.
These came in the mail. Two old brushes for possible later restoration. Another Gillette Tech and a Y2 Plastic baseplate Black Beauty. The Black Beauty is locked on 9 so I will have to give it some soaks to try and free it up. They were all one auction lot on the bay.

Another find at a secondhand shop this long weekend. I think it is a No 22 Aristocratic from 1952 in a Valet case. It is in pretty good condition. Just needs a good clean and should be good to go. I have a couple of Valet razors that should fit the case.
