Single Edge Sunday - What Will You Use?

Hand fit BIC blade in my new Christy.
Homade soap with DI water for better mineral-free lather.
Shavist Formula 1 aftershave balm.

I shower shaved with a Bic Metal, a single edge disposable that has been in the shower long enough to have gone dull from simply being pelted with water for the last 18 months or so. It was PIF'd me. Phenomenal quick shaver, just dangerous enough to keep you honest; it'll bite if you mistreat it!

It delivered a wonderful DFS. I used some oatmeal infused bar soap. Followed it up with some Proraso aftershave I was PIF'd.

SEptemper, Sunday 29 I have been testing a oldie Goldie a Valet Auto strop C1 Canadian version. This is the closest to Straight razor or Shavette in my collection. The C1 can deliver nice shave or ...... depending on the hand technique that morning . I find a 3 pass with a clean up too much for myself, Two pass with a clean up about right with this razor.

Razor: Valet Auto-strop C1 Canadian version with smaller modified gap(.007-.008 thousands inch) MFG 1928-30's

Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave :Amici A.S with witch hazel+ Nivea balm
