Ever-Ready Badger-lon 300BN

Howdy Gents,
Thought that I'd share my latest project, and I actually remembered to take the time to snap some photos.
The handle was a bit cruddy and the original Badger/nylon knot was garbage.
Gave the handle a light polish with some flitz, drilled out the knot, opened the hole up just a tad, and then waited patiently for my 18mm Virginia Sheng silver tip knot to arrive from China.
Added one penny for the desired loft along with some Gorilla glue epoxy, and voila.
The knot at the opening is about 21mm with a loft of about 46mm.
The knot is very soft, with decent enough backbone, great density, and also exhibits the gel-tip phenomenon. Flow through is excellent as well.
For about $13 shipped, the QPR is outrageously good
