Broke out my puck of Old Spice soap the other day. The scent is long gone but still a great soap. Today I got my puck of PC Bay Rum. After using both soaps I'd have to say Krissy is right up there with the Old Spice soap as well as any other good tallow soap I've tried.
Now I don't have to kick myself for not stocking up on the OS soap back in the 70's.
There ya go wait long enuf and it all comes full circle.
Can't wait to get my order in for some new OS scented soap.
Darned good product and a fantastic value.
Bruce

Has anyone tried the Prairie Creations "Nag Champa?"
The description sounds interesting, but I'd like to hear from someone who has used it.
Thanks.

I got bay rum and OS coming...as to the turnaround time, I'm pretty sure she had soap waiting for the scent to arrive.
Can't wait to try this stuff.

Speaking of lactic acid in milk, have you done anything with buttermilk?
If you made a buttermilk soap, with a coffee, maple and bacon scent, I would smell like Saturday Breakfast!

I just ordered Snozzberry, with aloe and wheat protein, Spiced Rum with beer and no wheat protein, and Mango Passion Tea in a shave stick, so I think I've covered all the bases. I also picked up some Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey body cream for my girlfriend.

I like the unscented, because Krissy is awesome for working with us scent allergic .
I'm also starting to delve into trying some scents now... it may work for once with Krissy doing the soap making .
Prarie Creations stuff rocks!

Two questions:
Why would one want (or not want) wheat protein in a shave soap?
Do "the snozzberries taste like snozzberries?"
-Andy
seriously, though: what's the snozzberry fragrance like?

Good question on the wheat protein. I ordered it because it sounded like it might be nice.

An extra ingredient for free, right? That's all I can figure. I'm no soaper, but I do bake bread. I'll be interested to hear what dermatological benefits or soap performance enhancements wheat gluten provides.
