Ok, followers of PC. I've been procrastinating posting here for some reason. I got my PC soaps in the mail about a week ago. I ordered a refill puck of Teak and Sandalwood and a stick of Cedar essential oil. I've had the chance to use them both once thus far since I only shave about three times a week.

The smell of each is incredible! I especially like the cedar. It is spot on. And the stick performed flawlessly. I actually reviewed it here if you want to check it out.

I had a hard time getting the lather from the puck of teak and sandalwood to stick around. The shave was still slick, but the lather was fleeting. Since I've only tried it once I'm not going to pass judgment quite yet. I feel I'd be remiss if I didn't play around with the water content to see if it was my fault instead of the soaps. Very possible, and from the enthusiasm expressed here, I'd say very likely.

Hang with it, the water content and amount of product needed is different from other soaps. You definately need a lot of product.

That's what I suspected after using the stick. I'll certainly revisit the puck next shave. I really do love the scents.

Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein was in Krissy's formula by default then she later added it as an option. Most of her soaps which have been reviewed do have it. My soaps have the Wheat Protein and they perform perfectly. I wouldn't want to change a thing.

I'm mystified about what the wheat protein does, but it's in my soaps and they perform superbly.
