How Many Suits Do You Own?

I'm basically retired now and wear a suit an average of once a week. There's a very nice young man in the neighborhood who's always willing to help everyone without wanting any compensation. He's graduating from university with a degree in business, doesn't own a suit and his mother is a single parent. In the new year he's going to get a very nice wardrobe that I'll have tailored for him, for free.

I had to count mine up. 8 suits, three sport coats, and numerous pairs of slacks.

Three of the suits I got tailor made in Hong Kong. There is nothing quite like a scratch made suit.

This thread inspired me to count them, for the first time in my life.

47 suits.

Now I really feel silly.

Please don't ask about dress shoes. That would be cruel.

I own 5 suits and 7 sport jackets...can't say I miss wearing them every day though...
